One quick search showed me JMG (J.M. Gallup) made no comment after 2012 May 10th. He really is an expert in the field of qPCR, with great remarks and advices. I hope he is alright with no serious problem, and start showing up as soon as possible.

I'm with you Rima, I do miss JMG, his posts are an awesome read... I don't have news but I hope he's ok, and that he'll be back soon!

Rima and Roberto,
Unfortunately there have been tragedies recently that I have
to tend to. They are things all of us eventually must embrace.
Out of respect for those this has happened to (injury, death etc.)
I cannot go into detail on this site – as that is not the purpose
of this fine on-line place. I personally am here – but my heart,
body and mind must be elsewhere at this time. I thank you for
your concern – it is very unexpected and moving to me! Don't
worry about me. If I still have a job this spring I will attempt
to catch up with things here. I have enjoyed this site
immensely.
My best to everyone,
Jack

JMG, I am sure I speak for the majority of us that we wish you the best and hope that this difficult time passes into better times.
