Hi there,
Is there any reason why I should be aware of a loss in sensitivity if I use a Taqman MGB probe assay on a Roche Lightcycler. From what I know, the light cycler should be able to read the signal from the probe. Would the MGB (Minor Groove Binding) be a determinant on this as well? thanks.

There is no problem with Taqman MGB runs on a LC480 system...

Cheers. What about the Mastermix. Should I rather use the Roche or the AB mastermix? They are both designed for Taqman probes n chemistry. Which one is better?
