MTG (monothioglycerol) in protein purification?

Postby Myllena » Jun 30 2012 2:04 pm

Hi,

I found various protocols of protein purification saying there is some mM or 0.0x % of MTG (monothioglycerol) in their buffers. Do someone know what is this for exactly? :)

Thanks very much in advance.
